tJRS Opta Joint Test Bank

The tJRS Opta is the only fully automated joint test bench that is based on a threaded fastener. This means that the joint conditions can be set in the same way as in real fastener applications, and also the joint can be "backed up" automatically. As a result, tools can be tested offline in the most realistic conditions of any joint simulator bench, quickly and efficiently.

Description

Traditionally, automated joint test stands have used friction brake systems instead of a threaded fastener. The reasons for this were to overcome the two main problems of having to revert, or roll back, after each summary and the cumbersome nature of reconfiguring the board feature.

While friction brakes can be easily reset, eliminating the kickback problem, they introduce many of their own problems, often resulting in the simulator having significantly different properties than the actual joints on which the tools will be used. Crane's tJRS torque test bench sets the standard for precise and precise torque delivery.
