RS Wheel Lock System
Powerful and Versatile “ Even Under Extreme Conditions
Our RS wheel block system is suitable for applications where a sheet steel casing is necessary, e.g. e.g. with efforts in the form of impulses. The RS system is also used in high temperature applications up to 250 °C or in those cases where a stainless steel casing is required. The different wheel models, and the various fixation possibilities to the connection construction, allow this system to become an element of universal use for the most diverse tasks.
Description
Its Other Advantages:
- 5 sizes with load capacities from 3.5 to 18 t
- Sheet steel or stainless steel housing
- In its standard version, numerous wheel contours
- 4 variants for connection to customer buildings
- Drive through Demag flat gear motors
- Integrated coupling options, e.g. e.g. anti-moments, roller guides and stops
Specifications
The Advantages at Simple Glance
Powerful in Extreme Applications
- Long useful life of steel and mechanical elements
- Special finishes for applications with high temperatures up to 150 ºC
- with carriage accommodation for ovens up to 250 ºC
- Stainless steel finish for the construction of apparatus in the chemical, food industry and in aggressive environments (size RS 125)
Versatile Application
- Large variety of standard wheel versions
- Sheet steel or stainless steel housing
- 5 sizes with load capacities from 3.5 to 18 t (RS 125 to RS 400)
Ease of Assembly
- Housing closed on 5 sides with connecting surfaces through holes
- Quick assembly and disassembly in all connection variants
- Polished side holes for bolt mounting
- Possibility of attaching an anti-moment, roller guides and stops
Optimal Drive
- Safe transmission of torque through the positive connection with the hollow shaft of the reducer
- Especially suitable for typical switching operation in travel applications
- To support the starting torque, the Demag modular system contains the anti-moment D1 (for coupling directly to the wheel block) or D2 (for coupling to the customer's connection construction).
Pair supports: D1 (direct coupling to wheel block), D2 (coupling to customer's construction)
Optimal design support
- 2D and 3D CAD models to support design
