DWS Wheel Assembly

SKU D-GR-CR-DWS

Standardized Wheel Set for Loads of Up to 60 T

Our DWS wheel set assumes the functions of transport on rails even in high load ranges. With this set we create complete translation units in driven and non-driven versions. To do this, we use our flat or angular gearmotors from the modular drive system.

Description

The use of these DWS series components offers great safety in operation and guarantees ease of wheel changes. Due to its universal use, the DWS wheel set is used not only in the crane and transport sector, but also in mechanical engineering.

  • Assembly of the wheel assembly in hollow profiles, box beams and as translation mechanisms for square mountings.
  • With square mounts: Easy assembly of the whole
  • Complete configuration with anti-momentum

Specifications

The Advantages at Simple Glance

  • 3 sizes with load capacities from 28 “ 63 t
  • Assembly of the wheel assembly in hollow profiles, box beams and as translation mechanisms for square mountings

DWS Wheel Assembly: In Hollow Profile / As a Translation Mechanism for Square Mounts

  • Simple track width compensation thanks to interchangeable spacer washers between the bearings and the fixing washers
  • Quick assembly and disassembly of the wheel with conventional tools to dislodge it from the travel mechanism
  • Long useful life thanks to the possibility of relubrication as standard
  • Perfect fit with Demag flat or angular gearmotors with the corresponding anti-moment

Assembly of DWS Wheels and Angular Gear Motor (Connection with Torque Support)

  • Indication of flange wear in the case of wheels with flange
  • Support flange with slots to anchor the extractors
  • Even without a support flange, direct installation in the customer's ready-made construction is possible
