The safety and effectiveness of a manually controlled crane is significantly influenced by its control systems. Wireless controls offer great freedom of movement and increase safety. The new DRC D3 generation of the DRC radio control unit series is used as standard control for the Demag V-Type crane, which impresses with high performance. The transmitter and receiver of the remote control meet the criteria of the future radio standard according to EN 300 328 V 1.8.1.
Description
Extremely Long Battery Life
The battery of the remote control transmitter charges in 2.5 hours and allows continuous work for up to 5 days.
Quick Emitter Change
Up to three transmitters can be registered on the crane, which can be switched between by pressing a button without altering the operating process. The operation of each crane can thus easily be passed from one operator to another. The transmitter change is done in a matter of seconds.

The crane speed is individually adjustable to 30, 50 or 70% of the maximum speed.
Transmission Density and Coexistence
The highly secure, robust and disturbance-resistant radio transmission process allows the operation of up to 40 wireless systems in a small space. Adaptive radio technology automatically checks whether a given transmission channel is free or already being used by another participant. Coexistence with other radio systems operating at short distances and in the same frequency range is guaranteed.
More Transparency
The control transmitters are equipped with a two-color display to indicate suspended load and warn by vibration of a possible overload.
More Security
With a range of up to one hundred meters, users can control the installation from a safe distance, without entering potential risk areas.
